To get a full list of newsgroups, the slrn FAQ says to "modify your
slrnrc file to make sure write_newsrc_flags has its default setting." I
can't find that setting in the slrnrc file. Is it to be added to the
file, or is it there and I'm overlooking it?
Would still like to know how to get full list of newsgroups without the
use of slrnpull.
Sure the list isn't there and you're just overlooking it?
Usually you should hit 'L' and then enter '*' and all
the newsgroups show up.
What number of lines of your ~/.jnewsrc and ~/.jnewsrc.dsc?
Maybe your .jnewsrc was damaged, you could start slrn and for
test create a new one
| slrn -f .jnewsrc_test_new --create
to if now all the newsgroups show up.
